The study began in the Department of Family and Community Medicine in 2004 under the chairman ship of Dr. Jamal Al-Bahloul Bordom from 2004 to 2013, then the department was managed by Dr. Mukhtar Muhammad Issa from 2013 until now. Expatriate professors from Egypt and India assisted in teaching until 2011.
